Happy happy joy joy... Funny how a 9 hour drive can turn into 12 hours there and 14 hours back... we drove out to Ohio to spend the Christmas weekend. Lots more time would have been great, it definitely felt a little cut short. The rest of Kelly's family got to meet Ian and he got to meet his Great Grandparents. He also thought that the Hungarian song he was being sung was a barrell of laughs. 
We took the kids to see Santa this weekend. Ian seemed to be a little upset. I'm not sure if it was because he was tired or because he had on the same outfit as the big guy...
We celebrated Avery's 3rd birthday this weekend. Kelly had asked her what kind of party she wanted to have and without hesitation Avery said "A pink party mommy!"
Mom was in town for Halloween and had to pause to take a moment with the local poultry....
Avery had a great halloween. Kelly put a lot of work into her chicken costume and it was very well received in the neighborhood. Can't wait to see what Kelly comes up with next year!
It's been a full few weeks since Ian was born. Lots of friends and family stopping by to see how Ian is doing. We were lucky enough to have a few days of sun, luckier still to have everyone wanting to share in our joy.
